“I am very grateful and honoured to have been given the opportunity to sponsor a child through GEP. 

I have confidence in the management of this project in that I know that my monthly donation is being used directly to support a child who is experiencing challenging life circumstances to be given the opportunity to build a foundation for their future. 

Having spent so much of my early life in the Middle East and Ethiopia, I am aware that we take so much for granted in our everyday lives and on a personal level, it is very grounding to be involved (albeit to a small extent).   As an additional bonus, and through the regular updates and photographs sent through by Trade Aid, I am also able to share with my grandchildren the importance of understanding life within another culture.
