CEP – the New GEP

Our newly renamed and more inclusive Child Equality Programme (CEP) starts 2021 with 26 students on the programme. These children are progressing through primary and secondary school with our help in supplying necessary school equipment, and some are now entering college in Mtwara. Trade Aid is also supporting two deaf children to attend a specialist school.

We will also be seeking to extend the CEP sponsorship and include some provision for students who wish to undertake specialist and vocational courses. For some time now, Trade Aid has been supporting students to attend the local VETA college.
